"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus" -Revelations 22:20

I was discussing recent events and politics with my Dad yesterday on the drive home from work, and this verse came across my mind. In this verse, the author, John, make this statement almost as a plea. At least that is the way that I read it.

You may have said something similar in recent days. I know that I have. Please come quickly Lord! What we need to remember is that while we are anxious for the return of Christ, we must remain vigilant and continue to stand up for what is right.

I don't have to tell you that this world is getting more wicked by the day. It is becoming increasingly vital that we shine the light of Jesus like a candle in world of darkness. We also need to support like-minded Brother and Sisters in Christ. Together we can and will make a difference.

Who Says Christians Can't Protest?

As many of you know, I attended the Tax Day Tea Party in Washington, D.C. yesterday, April 15, 2010. It was amazing! There were nearly 50,000 people in attendance, and I met several brothers and sisters in Christ. These two guys below were bold Christ-Followers, and were all too happy to pose for a picture.

Amen! It was a pleasure and a blessing to attend this event with such great American Patriots. I will be posting video and more pictures on my other blog. Just click here to view.

Reader Feedback Needed

I would like to write a post about Prayer and Activism and what the Bible has to say about when a Christian should resort to Activism.

This is a fairly in-depth topic, so I would like to get some feedback from you all. Please go to the "comments" button just below the Title of this post and post comments with any sources or references that you think would contribute to this discussion.

Thanks!
